Backend Developer

At ioet, a leading software company with a talented team across LATAM, we provide Software Engineering as a service to clients worldwide. Join us for exciting professional challenges, working on projects ranging from innovative startups to globally recognized brands. Our positions are full-time, remote, and offer competitive compensation in USD.

We are looking for a Backend Developer with strong expertise in Python and PostgreSQL. The role requires familiarity with AWS, Kubernetes, and Datadog, as well as a good understanding of messaging systems like RabbitMQ (experience a plus). Strong communication skills are essential, as you’ll collaborate closely with non-technical teams and external vendors. The ideal candidate is comfortable asking questions, clarifying requirements, and working in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

Requirements:

  • +5 years of experience working with Python
  • Experience with Node.js is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL
  • Be familiar with AWS and Kubernetes
  • Experience using Datadog and feeling comfortable debugging
  • Knowledge in RabbitMQ, hand-on experience is a plus
  • Strong English communication skills - Minimum B2 level proficiency
