Junior SecOps Engineer

We are looking for a motivated Junior SecOps Engineer eager to learn and grow in the field of Security Operations. In this role, you will focus on security analysis and incident investigations, collaborating with international teams and supporting clients in daily operations. While development is not the main focus, having programming skills is valuable for troubleshooting and automation tasks.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about security, open to continuous learning, and ready to gain hands-on experience with leading cloud and security platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and analyze security incidents and issues
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure effective communication and client support
  • Assist with automation and troubleshooting using Python
  • Learn and apply best practices in cloud security, infrastructure as code, and operational security tools
  • Contribute to documentation and continuous improvement of SecOps processes

Requirements:

  • Experience in Software Development (Python preferred)
  • Strong interest in Security Operations and motivation to learn
  • Familiarity with CI/CD concepts (GitHub, CircleCI is a plus)
  • Team-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
  • Strong English communication skills - Minimum B2 level proficiency

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Terraform
  • Knowledge of SQL queries (especially AWS Athena)
  • Exposure to AWS services: IAM, VPC, Kubernetes, RDS, DynamoDB, Athena
  • Experience with Cloudflare (WAF, WARP)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Rapid7, Carbon Black, PagerDuty, VMware Workspace ONE, Lacework, KnowBe4, Jamf
