As an Engineering Manager, you will guide a cross-functional team of engineers working on modern web applications. You’ll be responsible for ensuring high technical standards, fostering collaboration, and driving products from concept to production. You’ll still stay close to the code, reviewing pull requests, defining architecture, and occasionally building features. Your main focus will be on enabling your team to perform at their best and deliver measurable impact.

This role is perfect for someone who can think strategically, communicate effectively with clients, and ensure products go from concept to production successfully.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring collaboration, accountability, and technical excellence.
• Translate business goals into actionable technical roadmaps and oversee their successful delivery.
• Communicate directly with clients and internal stakeholders to define priorities, align expectations, and ensure satisfaction.
• Oversee system architecture and code reviews to maintain scalability, security, and performance standards.
• Support developers in overcoming technical blockers and provide hands-on guidance when needed.
• Ensure e-commerce systems are built with best practices in performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Software Developer using JavaScript
• 1+ years as a Tech Lead or Engineering Manager
• Background in e-commerce products
• Experience interacting with clients, gathering requirements, and aligning technical execution with business needs
• Proven ability to bring applications from concept to production
• Good leadership, proactivity and problem-solving skills
• Strong English communication skills - Minimum B2 level proficiency
