Backend Engineer (Python)

We are looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who is eager to grow professionally within our dynamic and highly skilled software development team. As part of our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing and building modern, scalable systems—leveraging Python, AWS serverless architectures, and AI development tools to enhance productivity and code quality.

As a senior contributor, you’ll lead technical initiatives, integrate with third-party platforms (via REST, SOAP, and event-driven systems), and mentor junior team members, all while promoting best practices and modern architectural patterns.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.

  • Strong expertise in Python programming.

  • Proven experience building serverless applications with AWS Lambda.

  • Deep understanding of clean code principles, SOLID principles, and clean architecture.

  • Experience integrating with third-party systems using RESTful APIs, SOAP, and event-driven mechanisms.

  • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT).

  • Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Soft Skills:

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to lead technical initiatives independently.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong collaboration and mentorship mindset.

  • Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a commitment to continuous learning.

Preferred (Nice to Have):

  • Experience with AWS services such as API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, SNS.

  • Knowledge of Docker, ECS, or other container technologies.

  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.

  • Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform or CloudFormation).

  • Understanding of secure coding practices and compliance requirements.

  • Experience with TDD and automated testing frameworks.

  • Background working under Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong English communication skills – Minimum B2 level proficiency.
