We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer who is eager to grow professionally within our dynamic and highly skilled software development team. You will work on a Practice Management Platform (PMP) that supports key healthcare workflows, including doctor scheduling, appointment booking, and data synchronization with external systems such as EHRs and DrChrono.

As part of this team, you will play a crucial role in designing and maintaining reliable data synchronization logic across multiple systems, working with both event-driven and scheduled processes to ensure operational accuracy. You’ll be involved in developing robust backend features, collaborating with PMs and stakeholders, and keeping systems observable and consistent at scale.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development

• Strong experience in Go (Golang) with recent production-level exposure

• Solid hands-on knowledge of AWS services, especially Lambda, DynamoDB, ECS/Kubernetes, and CloudWatch Cron Jobs

• Experience with Elasticsearch for data indexing and fast search capabilities

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, webhooks, and scheduled sync processes

• Ability to work with and improve complex data synchronization flows between internal and third-party systems

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders (PMs, doctors, patients, FE teams)

• English communication skills – Minimum B2 level proficiency
