Ruby on Rails Engineer

We are looking for a Software Engineer II who is eager to grow professionally within our dynamic and highly skilled software development team. In this role, you will contribute to the evolution of core backend platforms that support business-critical workflows, collaborating closely with Product, Design, Data, and Operations teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

You will help maintain and improve backend systems, optimize performance, participate in architectural discussions, and break down complex initiatives into incremental deliverables. This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy collaborating with teammates, contributing through code reviews and pair programming, and gradually taking ownership of larger technical initiatives.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.

  • Experience with object-oriented programming languages.

  • Experience working with Model-View-Controller (MVC) frameworks.

  • Solid understanding of relational databases.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

  • Experience participating in code reviews, pair programming, and collaborative development practices.

  • Ability to decompose technical and business requirements into actionable development tasks.

  • Strong communication skills and interest in growing technical leadership capabilities.

  • English communication skills – Minimum B2 level proficiency.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Ruby on Rails.

  • Experience with PostgreSQL.

  • Familiarity with AWS services, such as ECS and S3.

  • Interest in backend platform engineering and scalable system design.
