As we continue to scale, we are building a pool of talented Jr. Python Engineers to be considered for future opportunities with ioet and our international clients. While specific responsibilities will vary depending on the unique needs of each client and project, you will generally be expected to manage end-to-end development, from designing reliable software architecture to building scalable services. We value engineers who take ownership of the development lifecycle, proactively resolve blockers, and maintain high standards of code quality and performance in fast-paced environments.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of professional experience as a Software Engineer.

• At least 1 year of strong, hands-on experience with Python and the Django framework.

• Experience working with AWS cloud platforms (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda).

• Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.

• Interest or practical experience in leveraging LLMs and AI tools to optimize development workflows.

• Ability to adapt to different tech stacks and project requirements.

• Strong ownership mindset and proactive communication skills.

• English communication skills – Minimum B2 level proficiency.

• Based in Latin America.

Nice to have:

• Experience with React (for full-stack capabilities).

• Experience with infrastructure tools like Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines.

• Experience integrating or building AI-powered product features.
