Backend Engineer

At ioet, a leading software company with a talented team across LATAM, we provide Software Engineering as a service to clients worldwide. Join us for exciting professional challenges, working on projects ranging from innovative startups to globally recognized brands. Our positions are full-time, remote, and offer competitive compensation in USD.

We are looking for a motivated Junior Backend Engineer with experience in Golang or Python and a strong foundation in Computer Engineering or related fields. You’ll work on software development projects alongside international teams, gaining hands-on experience with real-world systems and helping support scalable applications.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who’s passionate about clean code, eager to learn, with a great English level, and solid communication skills.


Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of Software Development experience, preferably with Golang or Python

  • Familiarity with Golang or Python in web development environments

  • Formal hands-on experience as a Software Developer in at least one real project

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field

  • Understanding of coding best practices, such as SOLID, TDD, etc

  • Strong soft skills like communication, autonomy, proactivity, and adaptability

  • Strong English communication skills - Minimum high B2, C1 is preferred

Nice to have:

  • Experience or knowledge of AWS and its core services.

  • Familiarity with frontend tools such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React or Next.js
